Two dump trucks, one alley, zero mess left behind
A driveway and side lot that had gone to mud. We brought in the skid steer and a pair of trucks, stripped the old base out by the load, regraded for drainage away from the foundation, and packed new stone in lifts. The street was swept before the last truck pulled out — the neighbors never had a reason to call anybody.

Drip edge, nailed off right, before a single shingle goes down
Most roof leaks on the Shore start at the edges, not the field. So we start there: clean tear-off, new drip edge nailed on a tight pattern, ice-and-water at the eaves, then shingles run straight up the roof. Coastal wind ratings, proper fasteners, and a magnet run over the yard at the end.

Layout day inside a new build-out. Every wall gets chalked and checked against the plan before a stud goes up, because a half inch here turns into a door that won't close later. Framing, blocking and rough openings all get set from these lines.

This is what a room looks like before the color goes on: floors papered, trim taped, walls patched and sanded flat. Cutting in by hand at every ceiling line is slower than spraying and taping fast — it's also why nobody spots the seam where we stopped.

It starts with Mark on his knees with a tape and a clipboard in a bathroom nobody loves — pink caulk, a step-up tub, a vanity from another decade. Framing and waterproofing come next, then large-format tile clipped level course by course. The photo people actually send to their friends is the last one: double vanity, framed mirrors, stone floor, no leftover dust anywhere.
